BECOMING VEX - feature narrative (2001) director/writer/producer

A misanthropic look at society and the burbs through the eyes of an anti-social twenty-something, Trust, and his two wanna-be thug friends, Johnny One Eye and Lefty.  Becoming Vex, a gritty ultra-violent homage to the American Burbs began creating buzz around the NY independent film scene and was invited to showcase at the 2001 IFP Market.  Interest from industry representatives and festival programmers landed the project a world premiere as part of the official competition at Cinequest San Jose International Film Festival 2002, one of eight international digital features selected as part of DXD (digital by digital).  It has been programmed at DIFF Atlanta Film Festival and Seoul Net Festival, one of the most advanced digital film showcases in the world, held in Seoul Korea.  Produced by John A. Taylor.  Johnny One Eye played by Irene Ryan award-winning actor, Jason Buuck.

SILENCE - experimental short film (1999) co-director/writer(adapted)

Tells the story of a piano player whose days and nights are consumed by thoughts and visions of his lost love.  The project was the first film to utilize Nintendo Game Systems' Gameboy Camera for principle photography.  Silence was one of ten digital projects programmed as part of the first digital showcase at Cannes International Film Festival and later showcased at Sundance, Rotterdam, Cinequest, Hamptons Shorts, Berlin and 15 international film festivals as part of the D.Film Digital Film Tour.  Silence was adapted from an optioned short script.  Co-directed and produced by John A. Taylor.  Lead played by Jason Buuck.

GUTTER PUNKS - feature documentary (1998) director/producer/editor

Tells the stories of ten homeless teens living on the streets of New Orleans.  The film world premiered at The Hamptons International Film Festival in 1997 and went on to play over 32 international film festivals including Cinequest San Jose International, Santa Monica and Chicago Alt.  The film received international distribution at the IFP Market 98 and sold to several television markets during MIPCOM, MIFED and NAPTE.
